Kyu Cho is a Master Data Programmer Analyst for the Health Data Science Team at MIMH.
My work orbits the intersection of data science and mental health research, focusing on harnessing the power of machine learning to unravel complex patterns within large datasets. At the Missouri Institute of Mental Health, I lead a team dedicated to advancing our understanding of mental health conditions through innovative data-driven approaches. Our research spans developing predictive models, identifying cognitive phenotypes of HIV using neuroimaging and cognitive testing, to exploring the impacts of aging on daily living abilities in individuals with HIV. Each project aims to highlight critical factors influencing mental health and treatment efficacy, advocating for personalized and precise interventions. My passion lies in translating complex data into actionable insights that improve patient care and outcomes, contributing to the broader field of precision medicine in mental health.
