Paola Garcia Egan is a Post Doctoral Fellow for the Health Data Science Team at MIMH.
Paola is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Health Data Science lab. She completed her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2022, where her research focused on studying the effects of HIV and early life stress on the brain and risky behaviors. Prior to her current role, she worked as a research assistant at the Health Data Science lab starting in 2019. Her research interests include analyzing the impact of different types of stress on health outcomes using statistical and machine learning models.
