Our research is dedicated to improving brain health across the lifespan through discovery of critical biotypes of health and disease using advanced brain imaging methods, cognitive testing, and laboratory biomarkers. We have extensive experience working in resource-limited settings, including translational studies that aim to identify, explain, and predict disease trajectories and individual response to treatment. The overarching goal of our work is to transform individual health outcomes through early detection and personalized interventions to prevent, treat, and cure the most vexing neurological and psychiatric conditions. To this end, our work leverages the strengths of data science and integrative team science to discover novel and clinically relevant patterns in complex and highly dimensional data.
